Each month, WXXV and Huntington Learning Center partner to recognize an outstanding educator in South Mississippi.

This month’s honoree is our very own Central Elementary School teacher Callie Mason, who received a special surprise when representatives from Huntington Learning Center, WXXV, and her family gathered to celebrate her. She was called to the office by Central Elementary Principal Arinne Ethridge, unaware of the heartfelt recognition awaiting her.

The photos capture the touching moment - showing an emotional Callie, known for her deep compassion, unwavering dedication, and tireless advocacy for her pre-K students.
