PGSD teacher honored at Keesler FCU Educator Impact Awards

Elizabeth Griggs, a dedicated math teacher at Gautier Middle School, was selected by Keesler Federal Credit Union as one of the inaugural Educator Impact Award honorees, representing the very first class of educators to receive this recognition.
Griggs was honored today at the IP Casino, where she and other educators from across Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama received an award and a presentation check celebrating the difference she makes for students each day. In addition to her individual recognition, Gautier Middle School will also receive funding through the program to support school and student needs.
Known for her steady, encouraging approach and her commitment to helping students feel confident in math, Griggs consistently goes above and beyond through tutoring, collaboration, and high expectations paired with genuine support. She's also our PGSD Teacher of the Year!
PGSD is proud to celebrate Griggs and grateful to Keesler Federal Credit Union for investing in educators and our school community!
